Photo Assignment #1

Yesterday, Diana coerced me into taking Sophie's One Year portrait. In the midst of setting everything up, trying to remember how to use the equipment, trying to get Sophie to stay where we wanted her and at the same time trying to get Ronan to stay OUT of the picture, I remembered why I stopped doing photography!

However, when we were looking at the proofs, I remember why I enjoyed it so much! (I'll let Diana post her favorites.)

So, while I'm in the mood - for those of you who expressed interest in a Photography class, here is your first assignment:

Find 10 images (that's the snooty word for "pictures" ;) that you LOVE. By LOVE, I mean that you love the image not the person or people who are in the image! They can be ones you have taken yourself, but they don't need to be. Just find your very favorites. We'll need them in electronic form, so you may need to scan them or take a picture of them, but try to get a good quality copy so we can appreciate why you chose them.

Plan to have them ready by February 23 - that gives you 10 days. By then we should have a blog set up for this class and you will be able to post them. {SW time to get busy!}

BTW the blog/class will be "open" so feel free to invite anyone you think might be interested.
